the dog should be okay unless there was an alcohol/drug mixture of some kind. If he feels icky, give him dry dog food to soak up the upsetting material from his stomach. It may even be an idea to take the doggy outside to eat some grass so he can puke for himself.
Phone a 24 hour vet care helpline and make sure he drinks plenty of water! My puppy once ate 8 mars bars with the rappers and was fine (thank go). Just keep a close eye on him.
What kind of alcohol are we talking about? Wood alcohol can cause blindness or insanity depending on the amount of neural damage. If the dogs drinking puke from local drunks? Well,,,I supposed you could in theory find some antabuse to add to his water! *Shrugs* Dogs are tough. Not necessairly smart, but they are tough.

Alcohol is absorbed into the blood stream once it hits the stomach, so Doggie isnt drunk.
I would take him to the vet ASAP! Or even call the vet and see what they say!
