How to get my dog to stop barking at other dogsdog training

We recently moved and we dont have a fence anymore. My dog is about 50 pounds and is tied down on a lead. He barks at dogs going by. He growls, he barks he just goes nuts. I have tried yanking on his lead but nothing helps. He is driving us nuts. Any advice?

Why is he tied to begin with? A tied dog feels a lot less secure being restrained, and will have a much greater urge to defend its territory. The simple solution would be to not keep him tied up any more.

Either get your yard fenced, or get up and take him for a walk around the block for the chance to go to the bathroom and actually get some exercise. You can even just walk him on your yard for a quick bathroom break. Tying him isn’t very useful.
